Bread Breakers will introduce members to “a dynamic new food ministry” over breakfast, while Drew Theological School gathers its many alumnae and guests for breakfast also. Clergy serving in Extension Ministry, beyond the local church, will dine together Monday evening. So will “lay and clergy people of African descent,” as guests of the Strengthening the Black Church for the 21st Century Initiative (SBC21).

GNJ’s Hispanic Latino Committee will also host a dinner Monday to celebrate Hispanic/Latino pastors’ new appointments and elders commissioned and ordained in 2022 and in 2023, along with retiring clergy and pastors moving to other conferences. The National Plan for Hispanic Latino Ministry will subsidize much of the dinner’s cost.

Finally, GNJ’s UM Stewardship Foundation invites members to stop by its area to be “blessed and caffeinated” on Tuesday, at 7 a.m., when it offers “a great, FREE cup of coffee or tea and a Danish.” A Wespath Institutional Investment Team representative will join Stewardship Foundation staff to talk about benefits.
