The United Methodists of Greater New Jersey gathered at The Wildwoods Convention Center in Wildwood, NJ on May 20-22, 2018 for their Annual Conference under the theme “Miracles Everywhere!” GNJ celebrated a new strategic plan that aligns with God’s miracles to continue to make new disciples, grow vital congregations, and transform the world.

Centenary UMC Community Kitchen // Eliminating Poverty

Centenary UMC in Lambertsville, NJ hold a weekly Community Kitchen where organic, high quality lunch is served to people of all ages, races, and economic backgrounds. Pastor Denise Tiedemann and Coordinator Muriel Meserve share how the Community Kitchen not only eliminates economic poverty, but also emotional and relational poverty as well.

Hope Church Mt. Laurel // Second Site Church Plant

Hope Church in Voorhees, NJ planted a second site in Mount Laurel that is reaching new and different people for Jesus Christ.

On April 28, 2018, GNJ recognized 24 disciples for their powerful ministries. These laity come from every district and region and represent congregations both large and small, urban and suburban.
