Park UMC seeks to hire a Director of Music to oversee the planning, organization, and execution of music ministry for the church. The Director will lead worship through a diverse range of musical expression, from traditional church hymns to contemporary music representing musical styles from around the globe. The right candidate will be able to seek out and recruit church members and other individuals with musical talents who are willing to share those talents at Park Church. The Director of Music works directly with the pastors(s), staff, musicians, and volunteers, in a team approach, to provide a high-level worship experience.
This is a part-time salaried position with an average weekly expectation of 12-15 hours per week. Salary is $15,000 – $20,000 (annually); negotiable based on experience. Additional payment for weddings/funerals. Continuing education stipend of $400.00 annually.
