Laity Leadership

Laity or lay people are those who join us for worship each week. The laity serve leadership roles that become the foundation of congregations and church life. Their leadership is reflected by being Sunday School teachers, worship leaders, greeters, committee members, and any number of other roles. Many of our laity choose to grow in their leadership by becoming a Lay Servant. A Lay Servant is ready to serve the church in a larger capacity. Lay Servants are knowledgeable on the scriptures, the doctrine, heritage, organization, and have received specific training to develop skills in witnessing to the Christian faith.
