Christian Education Coordinator for Children and Youth
Position Summary
The Christian Education Coordinator supports the spiritual and social development of children and youth under
the guidance of the Pastor and Staff Parish Relations Committee (SPRC). This part-time role includes
leadership, teaching, event coordination, and administrative support. It is well-suited for individuals discerning
a call to ministry, those in seminary, or gifted lay leaders.

Qualifications
- Spiritual Commitment: Active faith in Jesus Christ with a commitment to spiritual growth.
- Interpersonal Skills: Strong ability to engage with children, youth, and families with care and empathy.
- Technical Skills: Basic proficiency in social media, Microsoft Office, and virtual tools.
- Character: Teachable, proactive, and maintains confidentiality and healthy boundaries.
- Requirements: Background check, safety training, and two references required. Seminary students
(MDiv preferred) encouraged.
Commitment & Compensation
- Duration: Initial 6–12 month term with evaluation by SPRC.
- Hours: Approximately 3–5 hours/week; additional time for events/holidays.
- Schedule: Sundays at 10 AM; youth group typically 6:30–7:30 PM (biweekly).
- Compensation: Stipend based on experience.
