To attend/participate in any of the Focus Groups below, you must register when you sign up for the Annual Conference
Drew Theological School – All are welcome to attend! Come and join us for a continental breakfast on Monday, May 18, at 7am. To attend you must register when you sign up for the Annual Conference. Registration is limited to 75 people.
UM Stewardship Foundation of GNJ – Enhanced Continental breakfast – Monday, May 18, at 7am.
Join the United Methodist Stewardship Foundation of Greater New Jersey for an enhanced continental breakfast with a hot entrée option.
The program will feature a presentation on the importance of “Three-Bucket Stewardship,” equipping congregations to thoughtfully address a range of financial needs. Participants will also learn about new investment fund options available for conservative, moderate, and growth-oriented strategies. Foundation Board President, Rev. Brian Roberts and Larry Springer, CFP®, will host and lead the presentation. To attend you must register when you sign up for the Annual Conference. Registration is limited to 50 people.
Hispanic Latino Committee – is hosting dinner on Monday, May 18th, at 6:30pm. This year, we will gather to celebrate and honor our Hispanic/Latino pastors who are receiving new appointments in 2026, transitioning to other conferences, and marking other significant ministry milestones. This special evening will recognize their faithful service, leadership, and continued commitment to the mission of the Church.
The Committee on Latino Ministries of the Greater New Jersey (GNJ) Conference is generously subsidizing a substantial portion of the cost for this celebratory dinner. Attendance is limited to those who register in advance. To participate, you must indicate your attendance when completing your Annual Conference registration.

Strengthening the Black Church for the 21st Century (SBC21) Strengthening the Black Church for the 21st Century (SBC21) is hosting a dinner gathering for lay and clergy people of African descent on Monday, May 18, at 6:30pm.
The cost is $20 per person, with the SBC21 committee sharing the remaining expense. To participate, you must indicate your attendance when registering for the Annual Conference. We look forward to a meaningful time of fellowship and connection.
