Camping at Pinelands Center at Mt. Misery and Aldersgate Center

Part of the growing up process for young people involves spending time away from home. Summer camp is still an outstanding choice with very special opportunities and experiences, which can help them along their individual paths to adulthood.

Pinelands Center at Mt. Misery and Aldersgate Center  provides an experience of Christian community where campers are valued as creations of God and helped to understand and appreciate their worth and relationship to God, their group and others. Through a Christian curriculum, the educational ministry of church camping involves campers in developing self-understanding, self-acceptance and self-fulfillment. Campers are guided to the celebration of community and life as a Christian.

The Greater New Jersey Conference Commission on Camps, Conferences and Retreats, Inc., offers two different summer resident camping locations in New Jersey.  These sites are opportunities for young people to learn about themselves, their relationship with each other and most importantly, their growing relationship with God.

Both sites need the support of the churches of our conference.  Don't let the opportunity for a child of God to be nurtured in a wholesome environment slip away.  Please continue the rich history of Greater New Jersey local church support of camping ministry by signing up a young person today!
