Read the April Relay and share!

Read the April Relay and share! This month we celebrated the beauty that diversity brings, and we stood in solidarity with our Asian brothers and sisters by hosting prayer vigils and standing up against racism while we looked forward to Native American Ministries Sunday and highlighted how Rev. Ramos is transforming our new chapter of JFON. We also featured a social justice ministry and embraced the heart and soul of a ministry in South Jersey. GNJ churches are transforming the world and making their congregations more fruitful! Check out these stories in the April 2021 issue as well as our sixth story in our series highlighting GNJ families, this month the Pillot Family!

The Relay is a monthly newspaper that provides information on events and resources available throughout Greater New Jersey. The Relay promotes evidence of vitality in our faith communities and bright spots among our worshipers.

The Relay is sent free of charge to all clergy, lay leaders and committee leaders in our congregations. Others can subscribe to The Relay for a small annual fee of $10.00 Click here to subscribe to The Relay.

The Deadline to submit advertisements and articles is the 20th of each month.

Process: Content is determined each month in an editorial meeting with contributing staff and is based on the upcoming calendar and current events of the conference and staff. Submissions from church leaders are encouraged but are subject to review, edit, and publication based on the story’s alignment with The Relay’s stated purpose and space availability. Submissions with high resolution photographs are given a higher priority. Story ideas should be submitted to Heather Mistretta.
