Property Maintenance Assistant: Central New Jersey

Classification: Non-Exempt, Part Time (20 hours/week)

 Essential Functions

  • Maintain GNJ owned properties so that insurance exposure is mitigated and designated buildings are ready for sale
  • Inspect buildings bi-monthly and care for any unsafe maintenance issues
  • Assist in identifying potential building issues and have corrected upon approval from the Property Manager
  • Assist administrative assistant in identifying a network of approved contractors by region so that repairs to conference properties are done with excellence and in a timely manner

Organization Responsibilities

  • Check in with the Property Manager after visiting a property
  • Attend Property Meetings weekly

 Qualification and Skills

  • Skilled in maintenance operations
  • Knowledge of maintenance equipment and how to operate motorized tools
