Please note this seminar is for clergy only.
A Landscape of Loss Seminar for Laity will be held in Spring 2021.
During the past several months the COVID-19 virus has brought disease, death, and many other kinds of loss to our churches, our communities, our country, and our homes. The impact on all of these areas of our lives has been great. In addition, the impact on clergy themselves has been large and often debilitating. Statistics on clergy health and wellbeing since last spring show that clergy – first responders themselves – have been adversely impacted in terms of their overall health in body, mind, and spirit.
Starting in January 2021, each of the three regions of GNJ will host a two-part series, The Landscape of Loss: COVID-19 and Its Challenges to Clergy Wellbeing. The series, led by Rev. Ginny Samuel Cetuk, will explore recent statistics on clergy health, invite participants to share their own experiences, and offer strategies to safeguard and improve their sense of wellbeing.
We hope you will join us for these sessions. If you cannot attend on the date your region is scheduled for, you are welcome to attend another region’s session.
