The Healing Communities training is designed to equip faith leaders and laity with tools to build relationship of healing, redemption and reconciliation; this training provides resources for congregations to become Stations of Hope for the restoration of people affected by crime, incarceration and reintegration. It is appropriate for anyone currently engaged with or who wishes to learn about congregational engagement people who are reintegrating into society.
Friday, July 24, 2015, 12:30 pm to 4:00 pm – Train the trainer
This session is open to anyone who has completed the initial Healing Communities Training. Upon successful completion of this course the participant will be certified as a National Healing Communities Trainer.
Cost: $25.00 includes certification and refreshments. Please bring your book and materials from the initial training.
Saturday, July 25, 2015 10:00 am to 4:30 pm
This session is open anyone with an interest in learning more about Healing Communities. Participants who complete the entire day will receive a certificate of completion.
Cost: $25.00 includes lunch and training manual.
