This committee works with the lead pastor and other staff to fulfill legal and ethical responsibilities related to staff. This committee consults with the bishop and district superintendent on matters of clergy leadership of the local congregation as part of the appointment process. A 12 Month Plan for Stewardship | Rev. Jana Purkis-Brash, Executive Director, The United Methodist Stewardship Foundation
Creating a culture of generosity within your congregation doesn’t happen in one Sunday or even in a month of Sundays. It’s something that needs to be done on an ongoing basis throughout the year. A “Stewardship Calendar” can be an invaluable instrument in planning a more holistic approach to generosity and stewardship. In this workshop you will begin the process of developing a 12 month plan for stewardship for your church.
