Staff Parish Relations Committees | Dr. Veronica Palmer
The (S/PPRC) is the administrative unit in the local church where staff and congregational interests are integrated to focus on the mission and ministry of the church. This committee works with the lead pastor and other staff to fulfill their responsibilities. This workshop is for newly elected members or those seeking to refresh their skills.

Team Vital Ministry | Gina Yeske
Ministry designed to engage the local church in creating and implementing a plan to grow the church. This workshop will give an assessment of Team Vital and the success, challenges, and benefits to the local church. It will also cover an overview of the application process, creating a local church team, and developing and implementing an action plan.

Board of Trustees | James Ryoo
The session will cover the areas of responsibility of the Trustees for church properties, grounds, and investments. Learn all disciplinary paragraphs and the “Trustee Job Description” by the denomination’s Board of Discipleship. If you have 2016 Discipline, bring it along.

Connecting With Our Youth & Young Adults | Zachary Holder
Intended for the Youth Leaders and Youth Coordinators in local churches. Explore the various youth ministries (Ignite, Next Gen, Campus and Camping Ministry) and how they benefit the youth. Learn different ways to stay involved and plugged in. We will also examine different ways to organize and grow the youth in the church.

Church Finances | David Yamoah
Recommended for church treasurers, financial secretaries, bookkeepers, pastors, collection counters, and members of the Finance Committee or the Board of Trustees. Discuss the ABC’s of overall church financial management. Explore best practices for the overall accounting process, including policies and procedures, recording offerings, disbursing church funds, conducting audits, and reporting financial records. Conference billables will also be discussed.

GNJ Resources | David Leduc
Recommended for pastors, lay servants, and church leaders. GNJ has developed a dynamic array of resources for pastors and congregations in the five markers of vitality.  Review resources for laity and clergy including Breakthrough, PaCE, Wespath, Hope Centers and more.
