Poverty Task Force Meeting
Fourth Monday of Every Month
Time: 7:00 p.m.
Location: Pine Hill UMC,
The group is open to all clergy and laity within the district interested in working together to deal with the root causes of poverty. Their focus in 2018-2019 is literacy.

Soul Café Supper and Service
Time: 6:00 p.m. every Wednesday

Enjoy a free hot meal for all families. The evening begins with a family-style dinner followed by a time of worship. After worship coffee and desert is served. For those in need, a free bag of groceries is given. This is not your typical experience. Come as you are, all are welcome. There is a seat at the table for everyone. Haddonfield UMC 190 Year Anniversary Celebration
Worship
Saturdays, 5:00 p.m. | Sundays, 8:00 a.m., 9:00 a.m. and 10:30 a.m. with live-streams available at 9:00 a.m. on Facebook and 10:30 a.m. through the web and church app.
A celebration dinner will be held on Wednesday, November 20, 5:30 p.m. and is open to the public with advance reservations ($10 for adults and youth 13 and older; $5 for children ages 4-12).

Your Saving Grace Child Care Nights
Fridays, December 6, 13, & 20 | 6:00 – 9:00 p.m.
Haddonfield UMC
You Saving Grace is an evening child care program allowing parents to enjoy a night out. Children are offered salad, a nutritious dinner, a healthy dessert, and a fun activity. The cost is $20 for the first child and each additional child from the same family is a reduced rate. Please register by noon on the day of the session your children will attend. New Jersey Master Chorale Christmas Concerts
Sunday, December 8 & Monday, December 9 | 7:30 p.m.
Haddonfield UMC
The concert features Handel’s Messiah, Part 1, with lovely seasonal selections in the second half by Whitbourn (Veni et illumina), Rutter (What Sweeter Music; The Candlelight Carol), Willcocks (God Rest You Merry, Gentlemen; The First Nowell), and others. The Holtz Handbell Choir will be featured, along with orchestra, and soloists Rebecca Gulinello, soprano; Anne Marie Stanley, mezzo soprano; Mackenzie Whitney, tenor; and Timothy Renner, baritone. Tickets are required and can be obtained by contacting the church office at 856.429.0403 or office@haddonfieldumc.org. There is no cost for admission, but a $25 donation to HUMC Friends of Music is suggested to help offset expenses.


Longest Night Service

Haddonfield UMC, Brown Chapel
There will be a candlelight service in remembrance of those who have recently passed away. Prayer, readings, and reflections will center on healing while grieving for our loved ones.


Christmas Eve Services

4:00 p.m. Children’s Service (Sanctuary) – A family-friendly service featuring the Joyful Hearts Children’s Choir singing the mini-musical, “The Best Christmas Present Ever!”
6:00 p.m. Contemporary Service (Fellowship Hall) – A candlelight service with upbeat graphics and contemporary worship music.
8:00 p.m. & 10:00 p.m. Traditional Services (Sanctuary) – Candlelight services with choir, organ, brass, and percussion.

If you are unable to join us in person, the Contemporary Service is available through Facebook Live at 6:00 p.m., and the 8:00 p.m. Traditional Service is available through our live-stream available through haddonfieldumc.org (also available in the Haddonfield UMC app, search “Haddonfield UMC” in any app store).

All are invited and welcome to celebrate with us during one of our Christmas Eve worship services!


Combined Worship Service

Prior to the service, enjoy a potluck breakfast at 9:00 a.m. in Propert Café. Please bring a breakfast item or dish to share! Combined Worship takes place at 10:00 a.m. in Fellowship Hall. This service will be available on Facebook Live for those who cannot attend in person. As a reminder, the regular live-stream through the HUMC app and website will not be available for Combined Worship.
