Exploration is a three-day event for young adults ages 18-26. This event is designed help attendees listen, discern and respond to God’s call to ordained ministry, as they explore their gifts for service as a deacon or elder in The United Methodist Church. Click here to learn more and register.

Poverty Task Force Meeting
Fourth Monday of Every Month
Time: 7:00 p.m.
Location: Pine Hill UMC,
The group is open to all clergy and laity within the district interested in working together to deal with the root causes of poverty. Their focus in 2018-2019 is literacy.

Enjoy a free hot meal for all families. The evening begins with a family-style dinner followed by a time of worship. After worship coffee and desert is served. For those in need, a free bag of groceries is given. This is not your typical experience. Come as you are, all are welcome. There is a seat at the table for everyone. Hoagies can be preordered by calling the church office, hot peppers available, $6 each.
Clothing and shoes are free. Please use the side door directly into the hall. Ramp available.
To donate clean and good quality items for the sale, please drop off riday, October 25 at 6:00 p.m. No electronics or large furniture.

“Food For Thought” Series with the Ahmadiyya Muslim Youth Association (AMYA)

In an effort to dispel some of the negative stereotypes and fear, the AMYA has formed an outreach group simply called “Meet a Muslim – Ask Us Anything”.
Doors will open for a community meal at followed by a Q&A session. Islam is the world’s second largest religion but it is still the most misunderstood faith in America. This is in part due to the vast amount of misinformation that circulates unchecked, combined with the fact that over 60% of Americans do not know a Muslim.
