New HealthFlex Exchange Information for 2021

Introduction to the HealthFlex Exchange (full-time participants): includes six medical plans, three dental, and three vision plans. HealthFlex Exchange will include an option to enroll in an FSA. Introduction of Delta Dental for retirees and clergy/employees working at least 1,040 hours (20hrs/wk).

Open Enrollment Information

The Health and Dental Plans of the United Methodists of Greater New Jersey announces open enrollment for their Active and Retiree Health Plans and Dental Plans. Open enrollment for Health Insurance and Dental Plans is October 28 through November 12.

Eligible employees (30 or more hours/week) (HealthFlex Plan) – clergy and lay staff, this is the time to enroll or waive coverage for yourself; add or remove an eligible child or spouse; waive coverage for eligible dependents from your HealthFlex plan for coverage beginning January 1, 2021.

*Watch for the Notice of Open Enrollment being mailed to all churches. It is a legal notice, and Federal Law requires that the opportunity to enroll be offered to EVERY eligible employee, including church controlled nursery school employees.
