Nov. 3, 10, 17 | 7 p.m. – 8:30 p.m.

Small groups are not an event, they are a way of being the church.  Our Wesleyan tradition affirms that personal faith and social holiness are best nurtured in small groups. Whether you are meeting in-person or online, the multiplication of small group leaders is essential to growing ministry. To take your small group ministry to the next level it is necessary to create a plan to develop, invite, engage and evaluate its impact.

This three session course will include ways to develop as a leader and lead leaders of small groups. You will cast a vision for a yearlong plan for small group ministry, learn ways to recruit and equip laity to lead, as well as skills for online facilitation. You will explore small group resources on a variety of topics.

This course is recommended for new and experienced small group leaders, as well as those who are training small group leaders.

Facilitated by: Rev. Gina Yeske, Director of Resourcing and Small Groups, Rev. Andre Springer of Christ Church Paterson &  Rev. Gabrielle Corbertt, of Pearl River UMC
