Message from the President

July 24, 2008

This past April a letter was sent to all churches with the theme,

"If you want to walk on water you?ve got to get out of the boat."

We must get out of the boat, our comfort zone, and follow Jesus.  We are UNITED through Christ and through the Greater NJ Annual Conference.  Men need to be united through prayer, fellowship, worship and sharing with one another.

We no longer have yesterday, it slipped away as we slept.  We do not yet have tomorrow.  This is the day the Lord has made.

Saturate your day in his grace.
"I tell you in solemn truth, " replied Jesus, "that this very day you shall be with me in Paradise"  (Luke 23:43)

Entrust your day to his oversight.
"Give us day by day our daily bread" (Luke 11:3)

Accept his direction.
"If any of you want to be my followers, you must forget about yourself. You must take up your cross each day and follow me" (Luke 9:23)

GRACE     OVERSIGHT     DIRECTION

G   O   D

Fill your day with God.  Give the day a chance.

Jesus' design for a good day makes such sense.
HIS grace erases guilt.  His oversight removes fear.
His direction removes confusion.

The Conference UMM is "getting of the boat" and is willing to be in contact with your local church regarding the UMM and share with you the family of faith through men's ministry.
