Saturday, October 22, 2011 was the annual Multi Cultural Celebration coordinated by the Multi Ethnic Coordinating Team and hosted by St. John's UMC in Hazlet. Greater New Jersey Volunteers Needed for Next Stage of Sandy Recovery

Volunteers are needed from within the Greater New Jersey Annual Conference (GNJAC) to move on to the next stage of Sandy recovery. Starting in April, volunteers from across the United States will begin to come to help New Jersey residents rebuild from Superstorm Sandy, the second most devastating storm in US history as part of the GNJ long-term recovery ministry. Volunteers are the backbone of United Methodist relief and long term recovery ministry.

The Good Shepherd HUB is in need of supplies for and or completed UMCOR Kits. The Good Shepherd HUB checks and repackages all UMCOR KITS and then transports them to Mission Central for distribution by UMCOR. We also stockpile clean up buckets for use in the Greater NJ Conference. If your church is not able to do kits we welcome cash donations.
