The CUMAC Challenge

CUMAC NEEDS YOUR HELP!
"CUMAC feeds people and changes lives.  It works to alleviate hunger and its root causes for those in need in Paterson, Passaic County and northern New Jersey." (www.cumacecho.org)

The weather has taken it's toll on CUMAC's roof and they need your help!  CUMAC's roof is leaking.  Particularly, with the recent bad weather, water is coming into the warehouse through cracks and rusted roofing. 
 
The Challenge:
A local non-methodist church has pledged $10,000 towards the replacement of CUMAC's roof by the end of this year through it's Thanksgiving offering.  The total cost of the roof will be $20,000.  CUMAC challenges the churches of the GNJAC and it's friends to MATCH that generous donation.

So think about ways your church can help support this vital ministry!  Remember, CUMAC relies on your support to get them through the cold winter months.  Don't forget about their everyday needs!  This Challenge is asking churches to anything they can above and beyond their normal generous contributions so no services are affected because of this structural need!  It's a tall order!  Many thanks in advance for your prayers and support!
